Garden Green Beans with Ginger and Sesame Dressing

Ingredients

  • 5 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 4 tbsp sodium-reduced soy sauce or tamari
  • 4 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tsp seasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp Smak Dab Hot Honey Jalapeño 
  • 1½ tsp ginger, grated 
  • 4 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

  1. In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the green beans until tender, yet crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Drain the beans and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Chill for about 10 minutes. Drain well and pat dry. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, mustard, and ginger.
  3. Place the beans in a serving bowl. Drizzle with the dressing and lightly toss to combine. 
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
